The International Wool Secretariat is the representing body for wool producers throughout the world. One of its major roles is to stimulate demand for woollen textiles and garments.

For each fashion season, a series of publications were produced presenting fabric samples, garment designs, colour trends and design philosophy. These publications were used throughout the world by IWS branch managers in their personal presentations to industry, from the dyers and weavers through to the garment stylists themselves.
